Simrit Milan Customer Service Named 2010 Team of the Year |

I am very pleased to announce that Simrit Customer Service in Milan has been named the 2010 Team of the Year.
Tasked with absorbing the support of the Fluid Power Customer base as a result of the closure of the Spencer facility, the Milan Team faced challenges that included system integration glitches, product quality and availability issues, erratic website data, as well as new Team Members to train.
Sacrificing holidays, evenings and weekends, this Team provided exemplary support of the diverse Simrit Customer base while at the same time learning a vast product line. The loss of key Team Member Diana Heibertshausen was particularly challenging for the group; however the Team pulled together to sponsor fund raisers for Diana’s family as well as participated in programs to help others within the Milan facility.
Through it all, the Team continued to exceed our expectations for Customer Service Performance.
Please join me in congratulating the Simrit Milan Customer Service Team for achieving this recognition, as well as Customer Service Site Manager Tracy Reighley for leading such a successful Team.

Bill McClanahan Named 2010 Customer Service Specialist of the Year |

I am very pleased to announce that Bill McClanahan in Milan has been named the 2010 Simrit Customer Service Specialist of the Year.
During the past year, Bill has demonstrated initiative in supporting the move of the Fluid Power business from Spencer, Iowa to our Milan, Ohio facility. Demonstrating enthusiasm coupled with a can-do attitude, Bill supported our Customer base, Team Members and Management daily. Bill has also provided suggestions for improvement to processes as well as serves as the Lead for Fluid Power product.
Collaborative, hungry for knowledge and supportive of the Team clearly capture Bill’s characteristics.
