Pratt and Whitney – Canada (PWC) has always been a strategic customer for Simrit Division of Freudenberg-NOK with long term partnership. A few years ago, when PWC’s parent company, United Technologies Corporation (UTC) embarked on their Lean Manufacturing journey, they looked at Freudenberg-NOK’s lean initiative, GROWTTH – Get Rid of Waste Through Team Harmony as the benchmark. So when UTC/PWC announced their “Supplier Gold” Program, we were excited and jumped-in with both feet knowing that it will only help strengthen the relationship, provide us with continuous improvement ideas while giving Simrit the growth opportunities with other UTC Divisions.
It is Simrit’s goal to become a key supplier to UTC’s many Divisions by providing technically superior product and sealing solutions while being cost effective through our GROWTTH program. I wish much success to PWC & UTC in their endeavor to achieve their customer satisfaction objectives.
